FURNISHINGS & APPURTENANCES

Descriptions common to all Bedrooms and Baths are below. Also, please review more detailed information for the Master Suite, Loft Bedroom and Middle Bedroom as well as descriptions of the Living Room and Kitchen.

ALL-SUITE BEDROOMS.
Besides private bathrooms (see
Baths below), all bedroom suites have common deluxe attributes as well. There is a TV with remote in each room and all have stereos (cassette/CD/radio) with unified or separate remotes. Although the entrances to all bedrooms are from the second floor hallway, each has a great deal of privacy from one another because none of the bedrooms share a common wall. All suites have two walls (atrium, closet or bath) between them and solid wood doors to eliminate or greatly reduce any noise between rooms. Each bedroom has a pine dresser and a pine night stand with lamp, alarm clock, phone, phone books and pen/paper. All bedrooms have deluxe bedding that includes white feather down pillows (2 in each) and comforters (that are hypo-allergeneric / allergy free) that are enclosed in fine duvets with matching shams, pillows and bedskirts made by either Veratex or Ralph Lauren. (In summer the down comforters are replaced with quilts or a lighter comforter.) The cotton thermal blankets are color coordinated and each bed has an extra blanket and a pillow or two. The beds (Simons BeautyRest) consist of queen and twin beds in two bedrooms and a queen in a third bedroom. There is a separate closet / dressing area for each bed with an extra mirror (normally full length) besides the vanity mirror. For guests that do not prefer down, the extra (8) pillows (soft to extra firm; mostly medium) are of a synthetic fiber and there is an extra non-down comforter. All bedrooms have high ceilings that rise up to about 12 feet and special window treatments that include wood blinds, which are "holeless" to reduce outside light when they are closed, or blackout accordian shades. Besides sharing these common features, each bedroom possess different and unique qualities. Please see descriptions of the Master Suite, Middle and Loft bedrooms.

BATH FEATURES and SUPPLIES.
All baths have maple vanity cabinets, granite counter tops, under counter (or designer) sinks and travertine tile floors. All bath counters/sinks have been raised to the newer height (about 35") for ease of use, except for the downstairs bath counter (still about 32" high). Two bedroom vanities have drawers to store toiletres while the third has closet shelves. Each bath has Moen or Price Pfister faucets / shower heads, one piece shower-bath tubs with tile relief, combination heat lamps / fans and recessed lighting. In addition, every bath has a decorative shower curtain and liner with designer hooks, towel rack with towels, paper basket, toilet paper, toilet brushes and plungers. Accessories in each bath include a soap dish, a glass or two and a tissue dispenser with Kleenex. Toiletres normally supplied include small bottles of shampoo, mouthwash, moisturizer and soap. Extra towels, soap, tissues and toilet paper are in each vanity cabinet. A wall mounted hair dryer is located in the Loft bedroom bath and decorative rugs are below all sinks. (See
Bath Photos.)
