Spas / Health & Tennis Clubs:
If you just want to take some personal time and relax consider a massage or a day spa in Park City. Also, the Homestead, in Midway has natural warm springs, where you can scuba dive, and a spa. If you want to workout, check out the health clubs, the Park City Racquet Club with indoor & outdoor courts & major health center, and the nearby climbing gym.

Utah Winter Sports Park (UWSP):
This was the site of the 2002 Winter Olympics for ski jumping, bobsledding and the luge. At UWSP you can take simulated rides in winter and watch training jumps during the summer.

Trains:
The Heber Creeper, a steam locomotive and train, operates all year long out of Heber City about 20 minutes away.

Events:
There's actually more to do in Park City during the summer than the winter. Check out major summer activities, a calendar for the arts, community and athletics as well as festivals and concerts. The most popular activities and discussed below.

Golf:
Out the back door of the Park City Townhome is the 18th Fairway of the Park City Golf Course. Review this and four other public courses, and a private club, that are within a 20 minute drive. Also, see a list of all the golf courses in Utah.

Fly Fishing:
Look at Fly Fishing Utah for information about licensing, the season, limits and places to fish. Park City Fly Fishing is also available and local tours are available at Jan's, Troutfitters and PCFlyShop.

Biking:
When the snow melts on the slopes, many trails become mountain bike paths. Rentals are available at Cole Sports, a block south of the condo, and Jan's across from Cole. There is also a Mountain Biking School.

Competitive biking races are also held at Park City periodically through the summer. Check the calendar for dates.

Hiking:
Both Park City & Deer Valley have numerous hiking trails. A nearby trail starts a couple of blocks southwest of the townhome across from Temptation Condominiums. The Canyons has a Gondola, open in the summer, that leads to hiking trails, but also to the Mid Mt. Lodge for lunch. Nearby Heber, about 20 minutes southeast, has a variety of many hiking & biking trails. The Uinta & Wasatch-Cache National Forests also have many trails and you can hike to the Timpanogas Cave Monument near Sundance and make reservations - south of Salt Lake City &Heber City.

Other Summer Sports:
Other summer time activities include caving, hay rides, horse riding, hot air ballooning, jet boats. soaring and concerts.
