After a busy day of activities, relax beside a fire and use a fantastic entertainment center to watch a movie or listen to music. The Park City Townhome is equipped with possibly the best audio/video (A/V) system of any rental unit in town. Many people are accustomed to using DVD movies and MP3s or CD/Rs at home. Whether or not you use these formats yet, your group or family will appreciate a system that provides great A/V entertainment.
The home theater system in the ParkCityTownhome consists of the following:
1. 32-inch Stereo TV (Sony Model KV-32S42) that has a trinitron tube that provides a great picture and is connected to a cable system with 60+ channels.
2. Stereo Receiver w/Dolby Digital 5.1 Ch Surround (Sony Model STR-DE635) provides awesome sound. It controls a set of 6-speakers in the living room (Canton DL-220 speakers in the front and Sony speakers for the rear, center and sub-woofer). It also is connected to a set of ("B") built-in wall speakers in the kitchen area.
3. A DVD/CD Player (Toshiba-2710U) plays videos as well as audio CDs, CD/Rs, CD/RWs and MP3s.
4. VCR (Sony Model SLV-779HF) with four-heads, front audio-video jacks, high-speed search, VCR+ and auto clock set.
5. Tape Player (Sony Model TC-WE435) with dual auto reverse cassettes, Dolby B/C noise reduction and track search.
6. Automatic Audio/Video Switcher (Phillips Model PH61153) has cables that attach to most video games and front inputs for other games, cameras, iPods/MP3 players, etc. Sound can be directed to either the TV or the Stereo.
7. Remotes control each device and one controls all.
Audio/Video Libraries. A large BlockBuster's Video is across the street that provides a great selection of movies, music, video games, and the rental of game consoles. However, for your convenience, we provide a music library that contains about 20 tapes plus 20 CDs and a video library that contains over 20 DVDs and over a dozen VHS tapes. These libraries are located in the entertainment center both under the receiver and in the right drawer under the TV. Our system also allows for the easy connection of any game console.
To make it easy to use the home theater system, basic instructions are provided on the coffee table and in the User Tips. Besides the main home theater system located in the living room, and also visible from the dining area, there are televisions in each bedroom. The master suite also has a stereo system and VCR.
